8 oz. medium egg noodles

1 pound ground venison

1- 15oz. can tomato sauce

½ tsp. sugar

*½ tsp. salt

*¼ tsp. garlic salt   Substitute *3 ingredients with 1 tsp Pit Boss GSP.

*¼ tsp. pepper

1 cup ricotta cheese

1- 8oz. cream cheese- softened

½ cup sour cream

1 bunch green onion with tops – chopped

½ cup shredded Cotija cheese

 

  1. Cook noodles as directed. Drain noodles.
  2. Brown meat, add seasonings and tomato sauce, cook until meat is done.
  3. Combine ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
  4. Fold cheese mixture and noodles together.
  5. Spoon ½ meat mixture in bottom of a deep cast iron skillet. (meat layer)
  6. Spread ½ noodle and cheese mixture over layer of meat. (noodle layer)
  7. Spoon remaining meat mixture over noodle layer. (meat layer)
  8. Put remaining noodles on top. (noodle layer)
  9. Next crumble Cotija cheese top of casserole.

Put in Grill at 375° for 20 – 25 minutes.
