INGREDIENTS

1 sheet of crescent rolls

2 elk chops

1 tbsp. Pit Boss GSP (garlic, salt, pepper) seasoning

1 tbsp. Pit Boss Chophouse Steak Rub

sliced pepper jack cheese, to taste

sliced cheddar cheese, to taste

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the grill to 350º F.
  2. Season steaks with Pit Boss GSP and Chophouse seasonings. Place on grill and cook to desired wellness.
  3. Slice cooked elk steaks into long, thin strips. Set aside.
  4. Flatten sheet of crescent rolls and cut into 2 inch strips longways.
  5. Place pieces of cheese along the full length of each crescent strip. Add pieces of elk steak on top of cheese, then roll the crescent dough into a wheel.
  6. Place each cheesesteak roll into a cast iron pan and cook on grill until dough is golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
