INGREDIENTS
1 sheet of crescent rolls
2 elk chops
1 tbsp. Pit Boss GSP (garlic, salt, pepper) seasoning
1 tbsp. Pit Boss Chophouse Steak Rub
sliced pepper jack cheese, to taste
sliced cheddar cheese, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the grill to 350º F.
- Season steaks with Pit Boss GSP and Chophouse seasonings. Place on grill and cook to desired wellness.
- Slice cooked elk steaks into long, thin strips. Set aside.
- Flatten sheet of crescent rolls and cut into 2 inch strips longways.
- Place pieces of cheese along the full length of each crescent strip. Add pieces of elk steak on top of cheese, then roll the crescent dough into a wheel.
- Place each cheesesteak roll into a cast iron pan and cook on grill until dough is golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
