Ingredients:

1-2 lbs. sirloin (whatever type cut of meat you prefer)

8 oz. sliced mushrooms

1 medium onion chopped

2 cloves or 2 Tbsp. minced garlic

1 box puff pastry

1-2 cups beef broth

2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 – 2 tsp. salt

1 tsp pepper

 

Directions:

Preheat oven or grill to 400 degrees.

Heat large skillet or cast iron over medium heat. Add the sirloin and beef froth and cook until browned.  Drain off any excess grease.

Add the chopped onion to skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms.  Cook until mushrooms tender.  8-10 Minutes

Pour the in the beef brother and Worcestershire sauce.  Season generously with salt and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes

Assembling the pie:

Roll out puff pastry according to package instructions.  Transfer beef mixture into the pie pastry and cover the top, crimping the edges to seal.  Cut a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.   Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
